Thank you for your interest in Engine House 25 Wines. Here at Engine House 25 Wines we source our own grapes from around the world. From sorting, crushing and pressing to bottling and waxing, we take pride in crafting each step of every bottle by hand. We are always looking to support our local community, charitable neighbors as well as support national causes.

Engine House 25 Wines is an urban winery located in the cellar of a restored 19th century firehouse in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood on Penn Avenue. The restored firehouse’s first and second floors are also home to The Clemente Museum. Both the museum and the winery were developed by executive director and wine maker Duane Rieder through a passion for making good wine and preserving the memory of his childhood hero. Established in 2009 to help support the museum, the Clemente Society is the thread that holds the two passions together.

The Clemente Museum is dedicated to preserving the life and legacy of baseball player and humanitarian, Roberto Clemente. The Clemente Society is a respected group of wine lovers who have committed to furthering that legacy. By purchasing a barrel of wine from Engine House 25 Winery, Clemente Society members contribute at least 21% of their wine to the museum to support its mission. The Clemente Society members consist of prominent Pittsburgh business executives and corporations, non-profit organizations, professional athletes from around the country and world renowned musicians.

This donated wine is an integral tool in the fundraising efforts of The Clemente Museum. The museum uses autographed, one of a kind wine bottles signed by its prominent Clemente Society members and auctions them off to benefit the collection. The Clemente Museum also partners with other notable non-profits to raise funds using these bottles. Below is a portion of the current collection that The Clemente Museum can provide in partnership with other non-profits for fundraising. The Clemente Museum will offer these bottles for live and silent auctions, taking 60% of the money raised for museum and 40% for the participating non-profit. Many of these autographed bottles have raised between $2,000 to $4,000 at a single auction.

The Clemente Society will provide a letter of authenticity for each bottle and the minimum bid set for each bottle must be reached by the participating non-profit partner. If you would like further details on this program, please info@clementemuseum.com
